Apple's Macbook Air

We've all heard about it. Apple's latest offering to the techno-centric world. An impossibly thin notebook that does it all. It's so thin that it makes Calista Flockhart look obese. Macbook Air lives up to its name too. At only 3lbs, it makes 3lbs worth of air look heavy.
But of course, all these are not without a compromise. What's missing are a dvd-rom, removable battery, and usable USB ports (some USB devices require an additional USB extender to be plugged in. This is due to the lack of space provided on the ports). Of course, features like Wireless-N, a 13.3" screen and multi-touch mouse pad may make up for those infirmities.
Do I need it? My shoulders are still capable of lugging my 2-ton notebook. So, no.
Do I want it? Not unless I have an extra USD1,799 to burn.

Look on for additional photos and specs.
